Citium essentially fuses an essential range of useful services with the
professionalism and personality of a motivated and growing company. We
are a team of experienced and realistic individuals who share the same
focus and drive; to see the company continue to develop steadily and
forge new and lasting relationships with people in business; from
smaller enterprises to large global organisations. We are a different
kind of company; because we, as a team, wanted to change the perception
and image of a CRO and agency.
Therefore we mixed it up a little and became something in-between. And
it works. We cut away as much red tape as possible when creating
Citium, avoided pictures of pills and laptop screens on our brochures
& have made our terms and conditions easy to understand – not fifty
page novels. At Citium you will find that ‘core values’ actually do
mean something because we as a team, and as individuals, actually care
about how we are perceived and want to be treated in the same way you
do. It is a simple philosophy. It’s about listening, courtesy, being
open-minded, flexible and above all working with people effectively to
make things happen. Contact us today and see how different we are.
We are always interested in forming relationships and alliances with like-minded research and clinical research organisations. As we expand and develop our services within the UK and throughout Europe, we are seeking companies to discuss potential Phase II and III study involvement where teams of Clinical Research Associates are required and specialist clinical expertise may be needed.
Please contact us if you are interested in discussing any aspects of our company and services.
Electronic data capture has been very successful in some areas of the pharmaceutical world but not quite so successful in others. For some clinical trials the EDC solution has proven a brilliant concept with the elimination (or at least reduction) of data errors, high speed data capture and delivery and accurate coding, report generation, etc. The whole process also appears more streamlined and efficient and some organisations are continuing to look at how EDC can help them with future trials.
However it is not a simple case of, ‘one size fits all’ and it is apparent that some trials are not quite so easily slotted into the EDC model; some companies also offer tailor made packages but this can be time-consuming, costly and situations with poor help desk support has been quite common-place. Citium has expertise in this field form first-hand experience in several companies; involved in the costing, planning and review of several EDC software packages. We can advise on systems, companies and an overall strategy to see if your study trial would fit into the EDC element.
We have access to a team of Scientific Advisors, Scientists and Medical Doctors who can work with you on your trials in a number of ways. Our recruitment arm can also help you swiftly find expert Scientific personnel to join your company on a permanent or consultancy basis at highly competitive rates.
In the last two years we have amassed some very strong contacts and links within the NHS, from Lead Investigators to Lead Study Nurses and finance personnel. We worked closely on some key Phase III and IIIb clinical trials with several hundred sites around the UK and provided CRA support, GCP training and site-evaluation reports for sponsor companies. We are hoping to expand our links with the NHS, to provide staff support, GCP training and CRA personnel for sponsor-lead and non-sponsor clinical trials in the coming months and beyond. Please see our section on GCP training if you have staff who would benefit from this training.
